The causeway, Saturday morning
Jul. 8th, 2006 01:23 pmOkay, so Daisy had dawdled on her way to this tiny little island. But, really, could you blame her? Washington DC was just so much more interesting than this place.
As far as she knew.
The cab stopped at the end of the causeway. Apparently there were no cars allowed on the island.
Which might explain its low death rate. She sighed and got out with her single suitcase (possessions, like everything else in this world, were fleeting. Daisy figured she'd get anything else she needed as she went, just like she always did) and started walking.
This sucked. Definitely a punishment.
God, she hoped at least some of the people were interesting.
[ooc: Just establishing her arrival. She'll ping into other threads as she goes along.]
