Daisy had only gotten the flowers she ordered for herself, yesterday. This? Was a travesty.

So she's watching old 30s movies and sniffling when she thinks no one is looking.

But she's also here for whatever you might need of her. She's cool like that.

"Oh. You're very calm about that," Stark said, still looking at Daisy a little oddly. "And...they weren't so much after me as they were after, um, everyone else on the ship? Maybe a little after me. One of them anyway, but he wasn't really chasing me I was just sort of there. But right now, I don't think anyone is. At least not that I know of. It's been peaceful here, except for the invasions."

Daisy nodded. "I've noticed that, too. Do you want to stay here, then?"

"I do," Stark said quickly. "Here is a good place to be. Better than most I've been to."

[actingreaper]

"Well, what do you think you'll do here when you graduate?"

[stykera]

"I...I don't know." Stark frowned, then reached a hand up to toy with the buckle at his neck. "I don't know if there is anything I could do here. Well, of course there are things I could do, but I don't know if there is anything that would be useful."

"Let's start with the things you know you could do."

[stykera]

For someone who had never actually seen a deer caught in the headlights, Stark had the expression down cold.

"I work in the clinic now," he said finally. "That's something."

[actingreaper]

"That's something very important, actually. Do you enjoy it?"

[stykera]

"I do. Yes. It's a good change, from before. And I'd rather be doing something that helps someone than just doing nothing. Or doing something that doesn't help."

[actingreaper]

"Good! I'm glad you've found something like that. Perhaps you should continue with it when you've graduated, then."

[stykera]

"I'd like that," Stark said, finally cracking a smile. "If they would let me stay."

[actingreaper]

"Where do you think you would go if they didn't?"

[stykera]

"Back to Moya. If I can find her again."

[actingreaper]

Awww! He was in love!

"Well, that's very sweet. Have you tried calling her?"

[stykera]

Well, yes. Just not with the ship!

"I don't think comms would work from here. And I haven't got one with me."
