The TARDIS, Monday evening

Daisy was still lost. She'd managed to wander her way to the back of the room of clothing and then out into the hallways again.

She was getting hungry. Sure, she couldn't actually starve or anything, but she still liked food and rather wanted a good muffin or something.

There were times when she missed Kiffany and Der Wafflehouse.

"Oh, reapers don't all have that much in common with them. You should see Roxy, one of the women I had to work with on the west coast. Why, that woman would wear a sack if she thought she could get away with it,"

"Nothing quite wrong with wearing a sack," the Doctor said, adding a dash of spices to his cooking. "It's all about accessorizing, at that point."

"Well, considering the way she over-reacted when I picked up this gorgeous antique cross, I'm fairly certain she doesn't properly appreciate accessories, either. But to each their own, I guess!"

"Absolutely," the Doctor quickly set some rice to cook in the sonic rice cooker.

As everything could do with being more sonic.

"You don't have any food allergies I should be aware of, do you?"

"Not since I died," Daisy replied cheerfully.

"Ah, quite, yes," the Doctor said. The sonic rice cooker dinged and the Doctor went about preparing a plate for Daisy, stir-fried vegetables and chicken over rice.

"Voila," he said, setting it in front of her. He then poured her a cup of tea. "That should do you proper good, that."

Daisy leaned over and sniffed at the food happily.

Her stomach might have made a loud, unlady like noise, but she'd deny it to her dying day.

"Delightful. Thank you."

The Doctor sat down across from her, and retrieved from his pocket one of the packets of peanuts he'd grabbed from Caritas.

"Well, this is a load off my mind, finding you safe and sound."

"You were worried, huh?" Daisy smiled. "That's very flattering."

"I'm a worrier, me," the Doctor said. "But only about the big things. The small stuff? No problem. Important things, those get me worried. You're definitely important, Daisy Adair."

Daisy blushed and turned her attention to her eating.
